This apparently rubbed some county officials which include County C.O for Agriculture Mr. Salad Tutana who subliminally called the senator out for 'gross misrepresentation of facts regarding the proposed boreholes' while providing tons of paperwork to deconstruct her earlier statement via Facebook and a headed letter from her office thanking the Ministry officials for 'hearkening to her pleas of mercy for her people'.

Mr. Tutana ends his Post by the following words- 'I share this to clear the air regarding a section of leaders who are using our work for political gain which is not fair to us, Making Isiolo Great Is Our Motto.'

However, despite the highly publicised implication, the senator is yet to retract her statement including the deletion of the supposedly 'misleading' post she made on Facebook which is still on her timeline and still 'broadcasting the same pack of misleading lies' which is becoming 'a major cause of concern' for a section of leaders on how credits are claimed in the future.
'Mrs. Dullo needs to come clean concerning her 'Hilary Clinton Situation' says one of local pundits,a Mr.X whom ICBN usually turns to for local political analysis.
He further continued to tell us how 'Senator Dullo's predicament is akin to that of Former American First Lady Mrs. Hillary Clinton who allegedly falsified her account of the 1996 visit to Bosnia by saying that she 'landed under heavy sniper fire' apparently while nothing could be further from the truth!

Mrs. Clinton made the remarks sometimes during the 2008 Democratic Primaries campaign supposedly in a bid to 'earn herself a few political points' to the effect but did not fare well in the 'stunt' as clips of her 'picture perfect' arrival at the Airport while her claim was that they(Clintons as she was accompanied by her daughter) 'landed under heavy sniper fire' which was proved to be not true since CBS accompanied the then First Lady and had the full clip of her arrival and onwards towards the nearby American barracks with no dramatic incident that was witnessed till she finally flew back to the States.

Isiolo County Public Service Board(ICPSB) member Mr. Molu Huka Golicha held a special Thanksgiving ceremony earlier this afternoon following his appointment to one of the most powerful boards within the county.

The ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries who include Isiolo County Governor Dr. Mohamed Abdi Kuti and Nominated Senator Ms. Naomi Jillo Waqo from Marsabit County who is supposedly a long time friend of the former senate aspirant.

Governor Kuti Dressed In A Traditional Ceremonial Regalia Following His Crowning As A Fullele Elder At Mr. Huqa's Homecoming! The Elders Have Since Promised To Support His Reelection!

Both Dr. Kuti and Senator Waqo praised Mr. Huka as a hardworking,humble and trustworthy person who is passionate about what he does and additionally comes with an irrefutable resume where his empiric and  meaningful contribution to the wellbeing and development of the ASAL's is clearly outlined especially his heroic fetes while working as a medic in the region spanning several years back.

The highly anticipated 'Inua Mama' event in Isiolo town hosted by one of its luminaries,the local women rep Mrs. Rehema Jaldesa took place today but did not meet the expectations of the organizers as the event was allegedly marred by bouts of 'booing' and 'heckling' with accusations of the aforementioned having 'neglected' 'her people at home' for the function which they dismissed as a 'senseless political shenanigan which does not add value to the people of Isiolo county and particularly Sericho residents where people and their property are being swept by raging floods', lamented a young lady who sought anonymity for fear of reprisals from the women representative.

According to a section of the event organizers that we spoke to earlier on yesterday to get an assessment of how the preparations are progressing, they informed us that 'the security would be ultra-tight' as they were aware of a lobby which consisted of folks who hail from the 'areas affected by the floods' to try and 'cause chaos' at the event which they 'will not allow at any cost.'

True to their words, security was seemingly tight as platoons of police in full riot gear manned the event and the streets.

This is after a video of her claiming she was from the Somali tribe went viral which has supposedly '(irredeemably)damaged her standing in the eyes of her community' especially her kinsmen who have since named the heir apparent to her throne in the person of the erstwhile chair of the Women Enterprise Fund Ms. Mumina Gollo Bonaya who is believed to have a considerable following on the ground especially among the youth and women owing to her years of working closely with the community on various matters concerning empowerment of the aforementioned and sustainable development.

When ICBN sought to know from the organizers why RDJ was yet to make a statement about the situation as the people have been stranded for weeks, let alone a visit, especially since she had two private jets for the event whose cost could probably afford to put several choppers in the air, albeit to give the people hope at such critical times as now, we couldn't get any definitive answer as they said they had 'no authority to the diary of the women rep' and that they simply 'follow the orders they are given.'

RDJ has been widely criticized for 'Working Against Mrs. Tiya.

Governor Kuti, Isiolo North and South Members of Parliament 'ran away with the credits' as a heated debate ensured on the internet as to who or who did not support Mrs.Galgalo. Tiya managed to prevail and her appointment officially gazetted by President Kenyatta shortly after which 'left RDJ with an egg on the face'.

The bill has since been unanimously rejected by the County Assembly of Isiolo which may have infuriated RDJ who may have sought the event as a redemption but that has fallen flat on the face too as 'the event was a resounding flop!'.

A section of leaders led by Governor Kuti made a visit to Sericho ward where they sought further assistance from the Ministry of Devolution, Arid and Semi-Arid Lands(ASALs) led by C. S Eugene Wamalwa as he lamented the situation was 'getting out of hand' especially because the Ewaso Ng'iro River which broke its banks is yet to 'let up' and the situation could persist till for days to come as heavy rains continue falling upcountry.

The over hyped and highly publicised event which Mrs.Jaldesa alleged would be 'one of a kind mega show ever witnessed in Isiolo' while announcing about the 'Inua Mama' caravan's long awaited 'date' with Isiolo on 25th October has however seemingly failed below several peoples expectations.

The usual pomp,colour and ululations that characterize such events was also missing as most of the leaders available looked haggard which could be attributed to the prior appearances they had to make in Marsabit and other places. The leaders who accompanied Jaldesa only seemed to 'want out' of the function as it was getting late already as the leaders arrived late after being in Marsabit County for the better part of the day.

The usual 'token' given out at such functions have also been 'underwhelming' as only a few groups benefitted from the entourage's 'generosity' unlike most people's expectations.

A number of women groups who had rented out their tents to the event also expressed 'disappointment beyond words' following the organizers refusal to pay them for the services they rendered to the event by saying that the tents were 'donated to them by the National Government Affirmative Action Fund-NGAAF whose patron is the area Women Rep Mrs.Jaldesa.

Isiolo Governor Dr. Mohamed Kuti has appealed for 'emergency intervention' from the Ministry of Devolution, Arids and Semi-Arid Lands(ASALs) headed by C.S Eugene Wamalwa after making a visit to the affected areas of Iresaboru to assess the situation which he says is worsening by the hour and the relief food distributed by the County Government could run out at any point', and that 'the sooner measures are taken to contain the situation, the better,' he insists.

The governor who was accompanied by Speaker Hussein Halake and Cherab MCA Mr. Mohamed Jirmo issued a directive to construct gabions along the river 'as an emergency intervention geared towards curbing further loss of human and animal life as well as destruction of property.'

Flash Floods in IresaBoru Has Displaced Hundreds From Their Homes.

#ICBNXCLUSIVE: THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF ISIOLO IN COLLABORATION WITH VARIOUS EDUCATION STAKEHOLDERS HELD 'AN EXTRAORDINARY EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE' IN A BID TO 'FIND SOLUTIONS' AND 'WAY FORWARD' ON THE AILING SECTOR

Governor Kuti Giving His Keynote Speech at the Conference Which Took Place at Rangelands Hotels on the Outskirts of Isiolo Town.

The County Government of Isiolo led by Governor Dr. Kuti and in collaboration with various stakeholders held a 'first-of-its-kind' in which solutions to the seemingly poor state of education in the region with the county managing to send only 29 students to University last year and only managing 26 the preceding year which was described as a 'worrying trend' by the Governor as he insisted that there is a possible scenario where most upcoming job opportunities especially those related to the Vision 2030 projects may face significant challenges in sourcing skilled labour locally as the number of students joining institutions of higher learning continues to dwindle which is primarily caused by dismal results produced by local schools in National Examinations at both the primary and secondary level.

The Conference Attracted Various Stakeholders Across the Education Sector including the  MCAs. 

Stakeholders decried that even the 'handful' who are 'lucky' to proceed to higher institutions are those who went for studies outside the 'borders of the county' and emphasized for attention to now be drawn on the root causes of the 'disturbing trend' among local schools and students and the remedies,if any, which can be deployed to reverse the situation.

Some of the key challenges identified according to the stakeholders were among others drug abuse, absenteeism related to pastoralism, teenage pregnancies, lack of coordination among various bursaries, failure by fathers to provide guidance🙎 and de-localization of teachers. Poor infrastructure in schools has also been blamed as some of the key challenges in the education sector by the stakeholders.

Notable stakeholders at the function included among others Parents Association(PAs) from schools across the county, KNUT county officials, County Teachers' Service Commission, BOMs,ECDE ward coordinators MCAs and reps of the National Council for Nomadic Education. The function also attracted various development partners whose programmes primarily target education.

Several stakeholders called for close coordination with national government agencies to combat the drug abuse menace among the youth especially those who are still going to schools and colleges and also called for the harmonization of the various bursaries available under various government agencies. Motivation of teachers from Schools which post encouraging results was also among some of the recommendations floated to arrest the trend before it gets out of hand.

In his key note address at the event, Governor Kuti insisted that 'this should not be the time to point fingers at each other or dwell on past failures' but instead 'focus on how to find long-term solution to the factors ailing the education sector in Isiolo'.

Governor Kuti further reiterated his earlier commitment while emphasizing that even though  the County Government is institutionally in charge of the ECDE department only (with respect to the broader education sector),   he affirmed his administration's commitment to work with various stakeholders in order to improve education at all stages including primary and secondary levels of education.

The event is expected to be held annually henceforth to keep the conversation on quality education alive.

ICBN has learnt that the deposed Isiolo County Assembly Minority Leader and Charri MCA Mr. Ali Dima had been to the Orange House, his party's(ODM) head office where he sought support in his ongoing feud with the House Speaker Mr. Hussein Halake Roba who the former blames for his 'illegitimate' and 'undeserved ouster' late last week.

He Has Since Sought His Party's Support on The Matter Maintaining The Speaker Had No Constitutional Powers To Remove Him While Emphasizing That Such Powers Rest With The Party Effectively Terming The Speaker's Actions 'Illegitimate' and Supposedly Laced With 'Sinister Motives' and Has 'Opened The Lid' On The 'Runaway Impunity' By Which Roba Has Been Executing His Duties and Responsibilities As the Speaker and Highest Authority of Their(MCA's) 'Honurable Assembly'. He Also Maintains that What we Have Seen So Far is Just but 'The Tip of The Iceberg' Emphasizing That 'A lot is at Stake'.

The MCA posted a photo of himself with the party's flamboyant Secretary General Edwin Sifuna although the caption didn't divulge any discussion or correspondence about his ouster or plans thereof on how to approach his alleged 'aggressor'.
 It is simply captioned, quote'Today, I was with ODM Secretary General Hon. Sifuna where we discussed many issues affecting the residents of isiolo County'unquote as seen here under👇.

However, in scouring the Zuckerberg streets, ICBN has stumbled upon a letter from the Orange headquarters addressed to a Hon. Roba and signed by no other than the party's Secretary General a Mr. Edwin Sifuna and effectively copied to the aggrieved MCA, Mr. Dima as posted below👇

A letter addressed to the Isiolo County Assembly Speaker Mr. Hussein Halake Roba the ODM party sought to know the speaker's official position regarding to his(Roba's) purported dismissal of their(ODM) member(Dima) from the House Minority Leader, a move which the party says can only be possible upon the party's 'request' and/or 'express permission to the speaker should such requests have been made to them'.

In the letter, Mr. Sifuna sought to know the speaker's official position on the matter which was widely criticized as 'undemocratic' and 'unconstitutional' where he allegedly stripped Mr. Dima of his Minority Leader's position, a move which would have been possible, but only with the party's express permission which Mr. Roba allegedly ignored, 'intentionally' or 'in contempt' of the existing standing orders of the house. The letter which is dated 22nd of October is currently doing rounds on various social media platforms was originally posted to Facebook by AbbaTayya Godana- an aspiring Member of Parliament for Isiolo South who is also an ardent supporter of Mr. Dima as seen in the screenshot below.👇

While not much is known about the ODM party's support for Dima or the route they(Party) are prepared to to take with regards to his ouster, it is clear that they are prepared to 'go all out' for their member and a 'protracted and an unhinged legal battle' maybe in the works at the orange house already according to one of our pundits who predicts 'dark times ahead for the house speaker should he disregard the party's request or fail to retract his position on the matter and allow Dima back to his job without further ado', he emphasizes!

Mr. Sifuna In a 'Show of Solidarity' With The Deposed Isiolo County Assembly Minority Leader Mr. Ali Dima. The Party is Expected to 'Seriously Agitate' For Their Member's 'Immediate and Effective Reinstatement At All Possible Costs'.

The party is known for having some of the best legal minds in the country within their echelons who include among others Mr. Sifuna and Senior Counsel Senator James Orengo just to mention but a few. It is widely believed that a legal tussle between the two entities would be 'catastrophic' for Speaker Roba and could lead to not only Dima being reinstated by the court but Roba also risks being slapped with some penalties and/or a 'serious rebuke' for failing to uphold the tenets of the constitution in his judgement even after being prevailed upon to do so by several quarters.

Mr. Hussein Roba: Isiolo County Assembly Speaker is Under Fire For Dismissing The House Minority Leader, Mr. Dima in a Move Which Many Have Termed 'Illegitimate' and 'Unconstitutional'. The ODM party has sought his official position on the matter as they 'weigh their options' on how to go about the matter. The Speaker' Response or Whether He Will Make One is Not Known Yet.
