ICBNXCLUSIVE: 'N.R.T IS HERE TO STAY'-SENATORS REITERATE!

S.D.M.L Fatuma Dhullo(Left)|Senator Abshiro Halake(Right)

The Deputy Majority Leader in the senate Fatuma Dhullo and nominated senator Abshiro Halake have reportedly informed their supporters and those allied to NRT that they(supporters) have nothing to worry about assuring them that the organization is here to stay regardless of what any one does. 'any one' used here we believe implies Governor Kuti who has sworn to kick the organization of the region the same way Turkana County did.
This apparently happened through a phone call that one of the community conservancy owners in Charri who sought to know from the senators what will happen to them if the organization will be kicked out as promised by Governor Kuti. Sources closes to the lady whom we cannot name since we do not have permission to publicize her opinion says that they are now satisfied and can have a sound sleep following the joint confirmation from the two fiery senators that no one has the authority to kick the entity out of the region.
Senator Abshiro recently sent bags of foodstuffs to the Charri ward which most of the residents declined and was shared amongst a handful of NRT supporters in the region.
Biliqo-Bulesa people held a mammoth demonstration against the organization bolstered by key human rights figures in the country which includes no lesser than Mr. Al-Amin Kimathi, an internationally recognized human rights activist who also lectured the locals about defending their ancestral lands from grabbers disguised as conservationists.
Senator Dhullo has recently lost a number of key supporters who include Mr. Chullu, a former MCA aspirant in Charri ward turned human rights activist following their divergent opinion on the continued stay of NRT on Charri people's land.
Another key supporter of Senator Dhullo, a Mr. Ibrahim-the self-acclaimed Omutata of Isiolo County is also a key figure in the fight against NRT and it is not clear how such revelations shall sit with him.
The County executive is currently reviewing a petition they received from the people of Charri ward so as to formulate a bill to expel the organization from the region.
Another lobby group from the region seeks not only expulsion but compensation of damages suffered as a result of the organization and are prepared to go the judicial way if needs be,say sources close to the unnamed CBO.
*Senator Dhullo has vowed to hold a parallel function to the State of Isiolo County address after she turned down an invitation to the same from the County Secretary Dr. Ahmed Galgalo.
